For nearly a decade, Ken Schanzer has been a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Florida. Ken brings an extensive background in law after serving several years as the owner of one of South Florida’s most highly regarded court reporting firms. Trained at Florida’s Gold Coast Schools for real estate, Ken’s knowledge of real estate contract law, construction litigation, eminent domain and other real estate matters puts him in the forefront of the real estate market. While in Florida, Ken’s experience extended beyond real estate affairs while handling residential sales, including short sales and commercial transactions.
As a native New Yorker, and desiring to expand his knowledge of the New York Metropolitan area, Ken attended Ivy Real Estate Education in New York and in 2010 received his salesperson’s license which commenced his full-time commercial practice, with a concentration in retail sales, leasing and investment properties in the borough of Manhattan.
Ken has now returned to South Florida on a full-time basis to continue his real estate practice, with a continuing emphasis in commercial transactions, and providing access to the New York market through his affiliations and licensing in New York.
Ken’s broad ranges of interest include photography (completing courses in commercial and portraiture at the New York Institute of Photography), bicycling, travel, languages and his family. His military service consisted of almost four years in the U.S. Air Force as a legal specialist, stationed in California, London, England, and Germany
